Due to the recent concerns surrounding COVID-19, the Dyer United Methodist Church Leadership Team has decided to follow the direction of the Bishop and our local superintendent to suspend all in-person meetings until further notice. While we do this with heavy hearts, we believe it is necessary, and in the best interest of everyone involved to keep us all safe.
Effective, November 19, all small groups and outside organizations, including bible study and worship services will not be able to meet here in person until we receive further direction from the Bishop. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these still difficult times.
Remember, the church building will be closed, but the church does not stop. We continue to look forward to seeing how you will be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around you. We will continue to worship on line. Because of your generosity, we are now better equipped for on-line worship this time as opposed to last time.
We will do our best to find ways to stay connected. Please stay well in the meantime.
Don’t forget, we will stream our service Sundays at 10am via Facebook Live and Twitch. Please be sure to join us! We look forward to seeing you (on line).
Also, even though we are not meeting in the church at this time, we remind you of the necessity of giving. As you are able, please mail in your regular offerings, or we have the ability to receive them on line by clicking the QR code to the right.
If you have any questions or needs that we can help with please contact the office (219) 865-8947. Office hours are 9am to 2pm Monday through Thursday.
Thank you again for your patience and faithfulness. God is Good!
Sincerely, Pastor Devin Cook
